The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international organization established with the purpose of promoting international trade, enhancing cooperation among nations in the fields of technology, science, and economic activities, and standardizing all facilities and activities related to goods and services.

ISO 14001 certification is an international standard for an environmental management systems that can be applicable to all industries and activities. Through environmental management systems, companies can systematically identify, evaluate, manage, and improve environmental aspects, thereby effectively managing environmental risks.

Hyosung TNC has obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for all of its domestic business sites.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a certification standard issued by Textile Exchange, an international textile association established to protect the environment and improve the quality of life. It verifies the use of recycled materials in textile raw materials and clothing production.

The GRS logo can only be used on products that contain 50% or more recycled materials. It involves a comprehensive process inspection from a raw material collection to processing, finished product production, and sales, ensuring continuous management.

Hyosung TNC renews its GRS certification every year to enhance the credibility of its recycled Nylon and polyester products in production.

OEKO-TEX is an international association established to promote sustainable textile products, and it is a label awarded to products that meet the standards set by this association.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an international environmental standard that restricts or prohibits the use of chemicals or metals that are harmful to human health or the environment in the production processes of clothing and home textiles.

Hyosung TNC obtains certification for Product Class II, which includes products that come into a direct contact with the skin, such as blouses, shirts, and underwear, to ensure the safety and health of consumers who purchase clothing items made using the filament yarn produced by our company. We renew this certification annually.

OBP is a recycling certification developed by Control Union, a sustainability certification body based in the Netherlands, and the non-profit organization Zero Plastic Oceans. It is designed to contribute to addressing the issue of marine plastic waste entering the ocean. Similar to other recycling certifications, it is based on traceability and verifies the entire process, from the collection to the management and recycling of plastic waste that enters the ocean.

Hyosung TNC obtained OBP certification in September, 2021 for recycled products made from marine debris, including discarded fishing nets and PET bottles collected from the ocean, to enhance the trustworthiness of its recycled products.

SGS is a Switzerland-based inspection and certification organization, and SGS Eco Product is a certification awarded to products that adhere to environmental regulations and minimize the use of harmful substances throughout the product's production, use, and disposal processes.

Hyosung TNC obtained SGS Eco Product certification for its "Bio Spandex" product, which is produced by replacing some of the key raw materials extracted from coal with a raw materials extracted from corn certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as bio-certified.

ISCC, certified by Control Union, a global certification organization based in the Netherlands, is a bio-energy certification.

The EU has created mandatory regulations for the sustainable production and processing of biomass in EU member states in the Renewable Energy Directive (RED). ISCC is a certification system for biomass and bio-energy that complies with these mandatory regulations.

Hyosung TNC trades in biodiesel raw materials in the trading unit (chemical PU) and has obtained ISCC certification to fulfill its obligations as a certified supplier.
