Chemical Products for Mining and Concentrates

A concentrate is a soil type product containing certain minerals obtained from mines, and our chemical products for mines include zinc dust and sodium cyanide which is mainly used for extracting precious metals.

Major Products

  • Concentrates

A concentrate is a soil type product made by dressing an ore extracted from a mine with the purpose of upgrading certain minerals. A concentrate becomes a metal of close to 100% purity after going through the refining and smelting processes, and the uses and the smelting method vary depending on the minerals contained.

    Gold Concentrates
A concentrate containing more than 20g/t of gold, a gold concentrate becomes gold after going through the refining and smelting processes. The resulting gold is mainly used for making jewelry and electronic devices, as well as investment goods.
    Lead Concentrate
A lead concentrate normally has a lead content of 60% and is made into lead after going through the refining and smelting processes. It is mainly used in automobile lead–acid batteries, construction plates, etc.
    Zinc Concentrate
A zinc concentrate normally has a zinc content of 50% and is made into zinc after going through the refining and smelting processes. Its most common use is for galvanization of steel products, and it is also used for manufacturing zinc alloy, zinc plates, and chemical products (zinc oxide, zinc sulfate, etc.).
    Copper Concentrate
A copper concentrate normally has a copper content of 27% and is made into copper after going through the refining and smelting processes. The resulting copper is mainly used for making wires, plumbing, roofing materials, and coins.
    Antimony Concentrates
An antimony concentrate normally has an antimony content of 35% and becomes antimony after going through the refining and smelting processes. Most antimony concentrates are made into antimony oxide and then used in flame retardants and batteries.
In recent years, the usage of antimony concentrates in semiconductors has been increasing.
  • Sodium Cyanide

A product made from prussic acid and caustic soda is normally transacted in solid form. Sodium cyanide is a strategic commodity and dangerous material, so great care is required in handling and exporting it. Most commonly used for extracting precious metals from gold and silver mines, it is also used for electroplating and for manufacturing medicines and pesticides.

    Applications
Smelting at silver and gold mines
  • Zinc Dust

Zinc dust is a powder type zinc also known as zinc powder. It is used as a reducing agent at gold and silver mines to reduce precious metals dissolved in sodium cyanide. It is also used in anti-oxidation coatings and medicines.

    Applications
Smelting at silver and gold mines, and raw material for anti-rust paints.
