• Caprolactam (CPL)

  • CPL is produced by synthesizing ammonia with the oxidized cyclohexane which is obtained by reacting benzene with hydrogen.
  • It is used as a raw material for nylon resin and nylon fiber (nylon 6), the latter of which is used as a raw material in the chemical fiber industry and the machinery and electronics industries.

  Applications

  Industrial use : Fishing nets, connectors for consumer electronics, etc.

  Packaging applications : Food packaging

  Textiles : Sports clothing, swimwear, carpets, umbrellas, etc.

• TiO₂

  • A white pigment in powder form, TiO₂ has excellent hiding power and dyeing power and is very physically and chemically stable.
  • TiO₂ can be divided into rutile and anatase by raw material, and it can be produced by two methods, the chlorine and sulfuric methods.
