□ Execution of an MOU on the joint development of green fabrics on Jan. 21st
On January 21st, Hyosung TNC signed an MOU with Musinsa, the No. 1 online fashion platform in Korea, to jointly develop recycled fabrics to be used for ′Green Line,′ the first green product line launched by ′Musinsa Standard.′
Under the agreement, Hyosung TNC will immediately begin to develop recycled fabrics to be applied to Musinsa′s standard ′Green Line′ products. The company is planning to produce the recycled fabrics with ′Regen,′ a green recycled fiber made from recycled transparent plastic bottles.

For the first time, Hyosung TNC leading the green textile industry in Korea supplies ′Regen′ to Musinsa Standard enjoying great popularity among the MZ generation. Hyosung TNC expects the business arrangement to be an opportunity to grasp the needs of customers cherishing green values-based consumption on the ground.
Musinsa will actively participate in the process of developing high-quality fabrics with an aim to launch the ′Green Line′ including green T-shirts in the first half of 2022.
In collaboration with local governments, Hyosung TNC has developed a variety of recycled polyester textiles called ′Regen Seoul,′ ′Regen Jeju,′ and ′Regen Ocean′ and launched clothes and bags made of the fabrics as the pioneer in the country′s green fashion market.
In December, Hyosung TNC introduced 10 types of trendy ′Regen′ hanbok (traditional Korean clothes) in collaboration with the modern hanbok brand ′Leesle.′ The company plans to continue expanding collaboration with various eco-friendly fashion brands going forward.
