E·S·H Guideline

We, Hyosung TNC, prioritizes safety, health and environment in corporate activities, and understands that realizing an accident-free workplace and minimizing environmental impact are important factors for continuous profit maximization as well as development of the company and growth of employees. Thus we make all employees to understand this and to make the stakeholders know this.

  • By establishing and implementing E·S·H management system to prevent loss of life and property, we achieve zero accidents, improve the environment and prevent pollution and continuously strive to improve the health of all employees.
  • For the continuously development of safety, health and environment, we’ll keep improving the process by checking periodically the safety, health and environment management system and implementation status.
  • Minimize the emission of environmentally influencing substances and actively execute resource and energy savings.
  • Strictly comply with all laws, regulations and agreements related to safety, health and environment.
  • In order to effectively implement the safety, health and environment system, we’ll execute continuous education and training and sharing its with business partners and stakeholders to increase overall reliability.

Our Goal

In order to achieve “Zero accidents” as the management goal, we establish a sustainable management system by appointing 4 key tasks “system construction”, “rule compliance”, “environment-friendly workplace establishment” and “Zero disaster”.

소방, 안전, 보건, 대기, 수질에 사고/재해가 zero(0)를 경영 목표로  안전사고 '0', system 구축, 환경 친화적 사업장 구축, Rule 구축을 환경안전 4대 중점과제로 선정하여 지속가능 경영체제를 확립하고자 한다.

Our Activities for Safety and Health

In order to promote the maintenance of safety and health, we have established a work system related to safety and health to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and business partners. In addition, we have established 8 key safety rules, principles of safety and Declaration of our Vision for making workplace which is not occurred any kinds of disaster.

Creating a safe working environment

Drills

Scenarios prepared for emergencies and initial response training are implemented. Large-scale accidents such as emergencies, fires, and chemical leaks are also handled through large-scale private-public joint training such as self-fire brigade capacity building education, fire fighting training, and chemical training. We are making efforts to implement a workplace where disasters cannot occur by preventing and improving our initial response capabilities.

Safety report

In order to actively collect the opinions of field workers who can directly encounter various risk factors in the field, a safety reporting program that guarantees anonymity is operated, so that minor but risky factors can be immediately improved. It is operated through SNS.

Certificate of a healthy workplace

We received “Navi certification” from Gumi City which certifies a healthy workplace that satisfied both the physical work environment and personal health resource areas to improve the health and safety of workers, among manufacturing business sites within Gumi City, and autonomously manage smoking cessation/obesity, etc. It is making an effort to promote the health environment of workers.

Declaration of VISION

In order to fundamentally prevent the loss of valuable lives and company property due to the prevalence of overall safety insensitivity in society, the environment and safety VISION was proposed, and the safety principles of the workplace and 8 safety rules were established and operated to ensure that workers are safe. Eco-Friendly Activities

Use of sewage reprocessing water

The sewage that flows into the Nakdong River is supplied with reprocessed water (hereinafter referred to as reused water). The use of recycled water prevents pollution from flowing into the river and minimizes the use of industrial water supplied from Gumi City by expanding its use area, contributing to reducing the shortage of industrial water in Gumi City.
